Retail Manager

Location: Worthington, MN

This Position has the primary responsibility for the overall administration of the retail sales area, including staffing, training, compliance, and coordinating all activities to ensure the highest quality customer service is provided in a professional and efficient manner.

 Accountabilities:

  • Supervise and monitor for daily problem solving, guidance, coaching, and training.  This includes the Client Service Specialists, Personal Bankers and support staff.
  • Oversee and assist Management with personnel issues such as hiring and performance management.
  • Compliance appointments of the following position (or by delegation) and the adherence of these regulations:
    • Bank Secrecy Assistant
    • Deposit Compliance Assistant
    • Privacy Assistant
    • Resolution Assistant
    • CIP Assistant
  • Facilitate the completion of the internal audit by providing documentation upon request
  • Development/Implementation of the Marketing and incentive program (or by delegation).
  • Review invoices/reimbursements as part of the Accounts payable system to maintain expenses at a minimum.
  • Responsible for ensuring the overall general maintenance of all bank properties – equipment and buildings
  • Back-up in any area when needed CSSI, CSSII, PBI, PBII or PBIII or by delegation.
  • Working with the Market President to meet the sales goals of the budget.
  • Communicate changes in policy, procedure and regulations.
  • Abide by and administer all policies, procedures and regulations of UP.
  • Any and all other duties as assigned by management.

 

Job Specifications:

This position works directly with the Market President for the completion of the goals of UP.  A monthly meeting with the CFO regarding work objectives to make the objectives of UP a reality is required. This position will be managing staff of both the Wilmont and Worthington locations.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or 5 to 8 years of work experience in banking and/or retail sales management areas.
  • Prefer of 5 years experience as a supervisor.
  • Must be proficient in sales process.
  • Occasional day travel may be required for training/meeting purposes.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.  Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be competent and knowledgeable in all areas of bank policy, procedures and compliance.
  • Highly motivated with good communication skills and capable of leadership by example.
  • Must be adaptable to an ever-changing environment.
